NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS
Mission Statement
The ultimate responsibility of the Board is to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Wyoming by ensuring that those individuals licensed to provide Embalming and Funeral services in the state are duly qualified.
Meeting Announcement
The Wyoming State Board of Embalming has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday, January 22 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Board Office, 2800 Central Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The agenda includes examinations for Embalmer and Funeral Director license, approval of minutes, the draft Practice Act and any other matter properly brought before the Board.
Members of the Board are: Michael Worden, Newcastle; Ross J. Gorman, Douglas; Greg Crandall, Evanston; Greg Searls, Cheyenne; and Wendy Braund, M.D., M.P.H, M.S.Ed, State Health Officer.
The meeting will be held according to the Wyoming Administrative Procedures Act. Public Notice
The proposed changes to the Wyoming State Board of Embalming Rules and Regulations have been approved by the Governor effective July 17, 2012:
Chapter 4, Section 4(b):
(b) A passing grade of at least 75 percent (75%) is required on the written examination.
